Place raster by 2 points with disproportionate scaling

Print Top page

The mode is intended for shift of a raster concerning vector (raster, matrix) maps and changes of its scale. Preliminarily the raster should be added into the document of vector (raster, matrix) map.

The mode Place raster by 2 points with disproportionate scaling expects from the user of execution of following actions:

- select the first point on a raster, specify the corresponding point on the map;

- select the second point on a raster, specify the corresponding point on the map;.

It is recommended to select points of a raster as much as possible remote from each other.

During a choice of points there is a possibility to control  the displaying a processed raster relative to the map. To change the display of the raster over/under the map, use the R button on the keyboard.

After a choosing the first pair of points (on the raster and on the map) the raster shifts to the specified point on the map.

At positioning the raster is shifted in such a manner that the indicated points on a raster come into correspondence with points indicated on a map (provided that a raster does not require turn). This changes the binding of a raster, its scale, the sizes of pixel of a raster on axes X and Y. The pixel sizes of a raster on axes X and Y can differ from each other.

ATTENTION! At use of this mode the file version of a raster map varies. You cannot open this raster in the program which version is older than version 11.8.5.

Ways to activate the mode: Place raster by 2 points with disproportionate scaling:

1. In dialog the List of rasters (View\Rasters list) to choose a raster which binding must be changed. Then press the Properties button and in the contextual menu specify the mode Place by 2 points … with disproportionate scaling.
