Compression and optimization of a matrix

Print Top page

This mode is recommended to be applied after editing a matrix , at mismatching of the matrix image in different scales of display, and also to decrease of matrix file size.

Is intended for regulating of header, blocks of the image and other auxiliary matrix structures.The mode processes matrixes of heights MTW and matrixes of qualities MTQ.

Processings modes:

- Optimization mode will be used for regulating  of header, blocks of the image and other auxiliary matrix structures.

ATTENTION: compression can be applied to matrixes with the size of an element equal to 4 bytes.

- Compression mode arranges header and other auxiliary matrix structures, packs blocks of the image, essentially reducing size of the file.

- Decompression mode will be used for uncompression of an oblate matrix.

- Compression and optimization of a matrix mode will be used for regulating of header, blocks of the image and other auxiliary structures of an oblate matrix. The matrix remains oblate after execution of the this mode.

Additional options:

- Input file copy option keeps on the disk a backup copy of a matrix map. The backup copy of a matrix is created with a name *. ~ MW.

- Cut the image by framework option is accessible at processing of a matrix map with the installed framework. After execution of the process of optimization or compression with usage this option the output file will contain only area of the image limited to a framework.

- The option Formation of the reduced copy starts a mode of creating a reduced copy of a matrix directly after an execution of process of optimization (compression) of a matrix.

- The option Redraw of map carries out updating a window of a map directly after the execution of process of optimization (compression) of a matrix.

Way of activation of the mode Compression and optimization of the matrix data:

1. In the Matrix list dialog (View \  Matrix list) to select a matrix for compression or optimization.

2. Сlick on the Properties button;

3. Select Optimization item from the appeared menu.
