Building of flood zone

ic_0228 The given mode allows to define flood zones on a map using the information from a matrix of heights.  You can use information from message line to call the dialog Building zone of flood.

The matrix name for building of flood zone gets out of the Matrixes of heights list.

Results of construction are kept in a matrix map.

For construction of a flood zone it is necessary to choose an object on a map and  to  specify points for which the level of water rising is entered by pressing of the left mouse button.

Coordinates of the specified points are displayed in a dialogue window Building zone of flood.

The level of water rise (numerical values in meters) should be entered by the user.

The name of Output file (matrix of qualities) is set automatically and consists of a matrix  of heights file name with addition "_mtr" and expansions *.mtg.  User can change output file name, degree of visibility and maximum width of flood zone.

If zone's size will exceeded established width, then this zone will be cut off from each party of object by value of the last width.

At switched on Create map object mode the user map with SERVICE.RSC resource file will be created as a building result. The map contains User objects layer which have "flood zone" objects.

If you indicate the user's map with the classifier which has no objects "flood zone", the objects "marking of area objects" will be created.

The building is made in limits of a given hydrography site. The user selects on a map a site of the river by the indication of two points for linear objects and three - for area. If it is necessary to analyze all river consisting of several map objects or some  interdependent objects, it is necessary beforehand to create the integrated object. In the Building of flood zone dialogue it is necessary to indicate a matrix of heights, for which one the construction will be executed and relative values of a rising water in points bounding a parsed site. The program researches the slope of a parsed site of terrain (value are selected from a matrix of heights), forms the ranges (perpendicular lines) along a river-bed, defines value of a water rise level for each range and then the radially-sector scanning to sites of an earth's surface between adjacent ranges, building of the relief profiles on its directions and definition of space coordinates of boundary points of a wave propagation of skip on scanning lines is made. In outcome two tasks are decided: the coordinates of boundary points of a flood zone are calculated and the level of water rise in each point in limits of a flood zone is calculated. All values are located into a matrix of qualities. The raster component of a qualities matrix demonstrates a flood zone at visualization. Except obtaining a matrix of qualities the creation possibility of the object indicating of overflow boundary (flood zone) is envisaged.

Hereinafter on a matrix of qualities it will be possible to do three-dimensional visualization as an independent model (for a rating of a flood level), so and together with a matrix of heights (space rating) and to do a dynamic rating of flood zones, having built matrixes on the different time-shears. Having the terrain object which show a flood zone it is possible to do a statistical rating of objects presented in a flood zone.
