Calibrate the printer

Print Top page

The calibration is made for the purpose of an approximation the actual image sizes to the theoretical. The result (calibration coefficients) is written down into INI-file and may be used in Print dialog at the included option Print with calibration. The calibration is executed for each printing device and only in the current resolution.

To calibrate with printing of test page:

- to enter initial sizes of the calibration rectangle;

- to print test page;

- to measure and to enter actual sizes of the rectangle and the diagonal length; (for the control of measurements correctness);

- to print control page;

- to measure overall dimensions of a control rectangle;

- to set calibration coefficients.

To calibrate without printing of test page:

- to enter initial sizes of the calibration rectangle;

- to enter the calibration coefficients.

- to print control page;

- to measure sizes of a control rectangle;

- to set calibration coefficients.

The printing and measurement of a control rectangle are not obligatory. It is necessary to check up correctness of filling the fields, marked by red frame at their appearance in the dialog. The actual sizes can not differ from initial more than on 5 %. The difference between computational and actual lengths of a diagonal can not be more accuracy of measurements.
