EPSG Reader program

EPSG Reader program is intended for:

-  viewing of EPSG database;

-   export of coordinate systems and units of measurement compatible with GIS Panorama.

 

To update the database you need:

-  to download the latest version of the EPSG database by the address

http://www.epsg.org/EPSGDataset/DownloadDataset.aspx;

-   to open the downloaded file by clicking the «Open EPSG database» button.

 

To export coordinate systems and units of measure to the GIS Panorama you need:

-  to click the button «Database Export»;

-  after the end of processing, the files epsg.csg, epsg.csp, epsg.csu will be created in the folder of open database;

-  these files need to be copied into the distribution kit with GIS Panorama.

 

These files are used by functions (description in mapapi.h):

-  mapGetEPSGGeodeticSystem

-  mapGetEPSGProjectedSystem

-  mapGetEPSGUnit
