Catalog of coordinates of ground control points

Print Previous page Top page Next page

The catalog of coordinates is a text file in which line-by-line number and plane coordinates of points are written down. Number of a point can be the text without spaces. As a separator the space is used. The order of recording the points in the catalogue of coordinates has no value as the automatic sorting of points by numbers is carried out at reading. Download of the points is carried out at a choice of the catalog file of coordinates.

Catalogs of coordinates are saved and loaded in the current coordinate system of the input and output map (the output coordinate system is defined by coordinate system of a current additional map). Therefore, at the subsequent loading the catalogs of coordinates it is necessary to choose at first the input and additional maps in those coordinate system which was at saving the catalogs.

Example of the catalogue of input coordinates:

1 49511.17 7850.37

2 39078.21 1520.5

4 50829.666 4353.274

3 43131.266 412.382

Example of the catalog of output coordinates:

3 431465.94 2188139.61

1 437739.57 2195666.78

2 427397.83 2189190.36

4 439107.24 2192188.92

The catalogue of coordinates can be created manually in the text editor or may be received at saving the selected objects of a map into a text file XYH in the task «Map Editor».

Saving the measured points into catalogs of coordinates is done automatically when you close the task or when you click or the right mouse button header and selecting the appropriate menu item.
