Order of actions at connection of GPS receiver to USB-port

1. Connect GPS receiver to USB port of a computer.

2. Include the device.

3. If necessary, install the driver of the device.

4. On Connection bookmark specify USB type of port in Used port group. The program will automatically try to determine the connected devices to USB. The list of the connected devices is formed in the Device group.

5. On Connection bookmark choose in the list of the connected devices your Gps-receiver. If it was not possible to find out the device in the list, check up correctness of connection of the receiver to a computer, a correctness of installation of the device driver and repeat attempt, having clicked on the Autodetect button.

6. On Connection bookmark in the Protocol group specify Format GARMIN.

7. On Connection bookmark specify Update rate for inquiry of the information from the device. By default Update rate is equal to 1 second.

8. Specify in the GPS receiver a format of the protocol - GARMIN.

9. Specify in the GPS receiver the system of coordinates for delivery of current point WGS-84.

10. In the bottom part of dialog click by the Open button. Thus there is a manipulation to the driver of the device and connection with the GPS receiver is installed.

After an execution of the aforesaid actions on Input bookmark the information on the device is displayed. On Coordinates bookmark the coordinates of last point transferred by the GPS receiver are displayed.
