Creation a raster map on cartographical materials

Print Previous page Top page Next page

If you have scanned images of the initial cartographical materials covering interesting for you  work area, there is no time or means for creation on them a vector electronic map, if it is enough to you to use a cartographical background as a graphic substrate for drawing on it of a different sort of the user's information, you may unit this graphic information in raster (or raster-vector) work area.

For this purpose it is necessary:

1. To create the passport on each sheet of a map forming work area (if maps topographics or geographical - create map, if other types, for example, large-scale cadastral plane tables – create plan (menu File).

2. For each sheet to execute the following actions:

- To open a sheet.

- To add it into the appropriate raster.

- To produce a raster transformation on angular points of a framework (Tools \ Run Application \ Transformation of a raster).

- To cut off the received raster on a framework.

- Unload sheet into the SXF format (binary or text).

3. To collect in one directory all received SXF.

4. To prepare file DIR (batch loading of sheets).

5. To load area (prepared DIR).

6. To add into area all transformed rasters.

7. Create a user map for the subsequent plotting on it  the user's information.
